Just another perfect weather day in the Valley of the Sun.  It felt like it got up in the high 80's today, but I never really looked.  It was a busy day for us, but a fun day.
  Marg did some laundry this morning and got it all caught up.  With this machine she does small loads often, so that it doesn't pile up on her.  We went for a bit of a tour around the park to chat with several folks.  The first was a couple and he just had a follow-up doc appointment and got pretty good news, really good to hear.  Another was to find out what one of the ladies could eat tonight after her dental appointment.  Later she went to water aerobics and they had the same gals again today.  The pool was a bit cooler but she likes it that way when they exercise.
  Lunch was open faced sandwiches on the patio, just one of the benefits of nice weather.  After lunch I went to play pool.  I had some pretty stiff competition in a one-on-one today.  Not sure but I think the games were about even.  Marg went out to Safeway to pick up a few things for this evening.  She got a snicker doodle cake and from the deli some cream of cauliflower soup.  The soup was for one of our guests who had two teeth extracted this week. 
  The pizza joint opened at 4, so we made a quick trip down there to place our order for 5:30.  It was Fatman Pizza, that bills themselves as Chicago style pizza.  We ordered a small Hawaiian, a medium meat lovers and a large everything on it.  As a result we were a bit late, but went to happy at Paul & Doreen's where there were probably 15 -20 people.  Still a pretty good turnout for this time of year,
  We had to kind of hustle as a couple of our guests went by on the way to our place.  We had a few couples over for a pizza supper as it was Kenny & Doris's last night and they had spent the day packing up.  The pizza from this shop is usually good and today was no exception.  There was lots for everyone and Marg made the mango margaritas tonight, which are usually a hit.  A nice send off for one of our favourite couples down here.
