Sunday, April 1st

Happy Birthday Phil, it was nice being able to catch you at home and getting an update on your day.  Sounds like it was a great day.
Happy Easter to everyone, such a great day for all ages to celebrate.  And finally April Fools to all of you.
I was up early and went to the service in the park.  It was nice, we had a bit of extra music today with Lorraine singing a couple of songs and we had a video of a special Easter song from a well known performer.  This was the responsibility I had today, to get the 3 TV sets and their sound set and then play the video at the right time.  It was a bit of a challenge as I had to position the player at the right spot on a long program, pause it to use it, then the  DVD player timed out and went off; but it all came off as needed.  The sermon was very well done, oh yes we had communion.
After we had facetime's with all three of the kids, well we still call them that anyway, but they are getting a little long in the tooth too.  LOL  Then we did a few things around the place here, but it was so warm that you couldn't do anything too strenuous.  It reached about 88 today and there was almost no breeze, so kind of tough on us northerners.  We are both feeling a lot better now, so the pollens or dust must not be so intense anymore, well fingers crossed anyway.
We had plans for most of the week, but they involve other people here in the park, so we are kind of in a state of flux or uncertainty.  It is mainly dealing with peoples departure dates, the things we want to do with them and our plans for when they leave.  We had lunch on the breezeway and then we had a few visits from folks who are leaving shortly.
There was an Easter dinner in the hall today, but we opted not to attend as we weren't up to another pot luck dinner.  Instead we had shrimps on the bbq and ate in the breezeway again.
Nothing to exciting today, but some days are like that.
