Friday, Mar 23rd

A bit later start today, but it was another nice one.
Marg went to water aerobics and the pool was nice, but they only had 8 ladies in the pool.  They had a good workout and Marg was able to handle the routines in her own way.  While she was away I scanned and posted a couple of events on the tenants association FB page.  There is a farewell dance on Saturday and the following weekend the Easter dinner.  These will be in the last organized events by the association for this winter season.  I believe breakfast tomorrow morning is the last one and ice cream on Sunday will be the same.  It is all coming to a close for this winter season.
On the coughing situation, at times it seems we are having a competition to see who can do it the most and it's getting a little frustrating. The only good news is the antibiotic I am taking is changing things mostly for the better.  I hate to keep lamenting this aspect of our winter stay here, but it has become frustrating.
After lunch I went to play pool.  Had some good games and played with some good fellows today.  Not sure about the win/loss ratio, but may have been on the losing side more than winning.  It was all good with pretty diverse skill levels among the four players, which made for interesting games.  All I can say is I was neither the best nor the worst.  LOL
Marg picked up Doris and they went to the Superstition market where she gets all the good deals on fruits and vegetables.  They had a good day and judging from our fruit basket a successful one.  The produce is always so fresh there, especially when compared to home.
She had a few visitors and our dinner reservation was 5 o'clock.  Gary & Linda drove, so that was nice.  I don't think any of the others had ever been to the Bavarian Point, the German restaurant.  There ended up being 12 of us, so they sat us in a separate room, which was nice.  The place was busy and that was complicated by them having a waitress no show up for work.  The gals working it pretty much had their feet run off them.  As a result the service was kind of slow tonight, but the food was good.  The waitress was the one we have had previously and she did the best she could, even gave everyone a second drink on the house.  I think most people were satisfied, but none the less a bit disappointing.
After returning to the park we went to Linda & Gary's for a bit of patio time.  They are trying to clean out their fridge [well Gary's beer].  A few other people stopped by and sat in with us, so there were probably 16 or 18 sitting around.  It went fairly late, but a fun evening.
