Tuesday

The day started out windy and it blew pretty much all day long.  Fortunately the wind blew in nice weather and we are experiencing a warming trend.  A very pleasant day.
Late yesterday, Gary had asked if I would tow a trailer for the park.  It is an old, I mean old, run down bumper tow trailer.  I believe it is owned by the lady that was in it.  She is another story, a tall pretty rough looking older gal.  She got lots of visitors at all hours of the night, only a few during the daylight and every so often could be seen walking out of the park pulling a suitcase.  She had been told the trailer had to go, but when it was not, the park manager apparently called and she was half way to Tennessee.  The manager decided to move it to the storage area, so Gary & I disconnected it from services [pretty disgusting stuff] and towed it over there and stuck it in a corner.  We put all the cords and hoses inside [Gary had cut off the lock], emptied the fridge to a garbage bag and the interior was a sight to see.  It was about the roughest trailer outside a junk yard.  I towed it over there and while the door is unlocked, I don't think it's at risk.  It was quite an attraction for awhile there.
We went out to the post office and it was probably the least busy we have seen it.  Mailed a few cards and a postcard to mother and picked up some stamps so we can send her more.  Then we sat around waiting for Mediacom much of the day.  I had a electrical circuit issue in the trailer that I dealt with.  Marg made french toast for lunch and then I went to play pool for a couple of hours.  Marg did the banking [on line] all the while having quite a number of visitors.  The women in this place are kind of the information network.  After getting back, it was almost happy hour, so Marg went there while I waited.  Mediacom showed up at about 4 and the guy was one of the best we have had.  He gave us a new piece of equipment and took away our modem and another unit it replaced.  The land line is finally back working and the internet is much better now.  I caught the tail end of happy hour because while with the service tech I had a call from Doris updating us on their status, so I wanted to share the info with everyone.
Back home for some supper and then off to bingo.  We had a couple winners at our table, but we were the ones who were close, again.  Say something nice about the bingo caller, well he is easy on the ink [i.e.:  we don't use much marking our cards].
