What a change in the weather, it cooled off from yesterday. Our high temp was about 20 degrees less than yesterday with this winter storm moving down from the northwest. They are expecting snow in the high country above 7,000 ft I believe, so that would be the mountain areas. We have a frost warning for Monday & Tuesday nights, but hopefully it won't go quite that low. If it does we may have a chilly game on Wednesday morning.
We messed around here in the morning. I priced some more of my stuff in the shed. Marg heard there are a few people in the park who want to come and look at what we have before the sale on Friday. If friends are interested I would prefer they have what they want. We are planning to set it up on Thursday sometime, so I don't care when they come to buy stuff. Just bring cash, LOL.
Marg had a lunch date today. It is Lorraine's birthday and a half dozen ladies arranged to take her to lunch at a place called - Red White & Brew. Marg had agreed to drive, but yesterday was stressed out about finding a new place. She had 4 ladies riding with her, while two rode in their own vehicle. i think there were others who would have gone, but the birthday gal wanted to keep it small and personal. There are always ladies who will go if they can catch a ride, so Marg is pretty popular on any of these luncheons. To help Marg out we drove there yesterday so she could see what she would be dealing with today. Well the gals were impressed with the route she took down Brown. She had to go through 2 traffic circles or round-about's that they were planning to drive a lot way to avoid. Then when she drove right to the restaurant they were blown away. After a bit she confessed to the practice run yesterday. LOL The food was apparently very good and being their first time at this one, they were all well pleased with the choice. She said she had fish and chips and it was excellent.
I had a very nice toasted sandwich and while not excellent it was fine. Then I went to play pool for a couple of hours. The guys I played with were mostly fun, but we always have confusion when playing with the one fellow. We know what to expect, so it pretty much works out. When I got back she had a visitor and they were.
Being windy and chilly we never looked for a happy hour today. We stayed in and had some taco's with one of the appie things Marg picked up at Costco the other day. It was very good, but the salsa they provided was pretty spicy so that not being my thing, I just used one we had in the fridge.
