Tuesday, March 10th

Another great day.  Started it off with a bike ride.  There were 5 of us this AM and I know this is a bit redundant, but Larry & I split off at the school on Mountain road and the others continued on.  We made about 7 1/2 miles, so good enough for me.  That left me with a bit of time to shower and shave in the morning while Marg went to water aerobics.  Great day to be in the pool and she really enjoys her time with this.  I managed to fit the third drawer in the kitchen and it seems to be Ok, although I will need to run them through the router before they are done.

Lunch today was at Kokopelli restaurant at the Gold Canyon golf course.  We got together with 3 other couples for the drive out to Gold Canyon, something we have done several times in prior years.  There is a coupon in the book, which is the main attraction for this group.  The scenery is fabulous and the food is good as well.  We always dine out on the patio, well it's more like a balcony.  While the coupon is nice, it is largely offset by the charge they add for the tip [18%].  Just like home if you have 8 or more.
It was hot by lunch time and the beer went down just fine.
After lunch we went out to the bank to pick up a little do-re-mi.  It tends to run out every so often and the bank seems to have an adequate supply.  Stopped at CVS on the way back as we needed some Claritin.  The dust her this week is playing havoc with everyone's allergies and we have both been having sinus congestion.  As it turned out it was on sale and then Marg had a coupon for it, so ended up saving $10 on the purchase.  I am pleased to report, it seems to be working!
Happy hour tonight was a busy affair.  I think the place was pretty much full.  In passing conversation, Larry indicated he plans to leave in about 10 days, so that will change the happy hour situation.  That is when others start to have them on their patios or driveways; probably when Marg has one of her margarita events.
Supper was a sandwich as neither of us were hungry.  By then Gerry & Deb had arrived so they could play bingo in the park here.  Marg had a good night winning a game, which has broken her long drought.  She said this was only her second win this winter.  After Gerry & Deb stopped back at our place for some coffee and a bit of lunch.  They left early as they still have a good drive and he needs to be back here early tomorrow.
