Merry Christmas

We started off the Christmas morning a little slower than usual.  We did get in our phone calls to all the kids & spoke with the grandchildren.  Sounded like they all had a great day, with lots to celebrate.  Christmas really is for children.
The weather here sure cooled off, for here that is.   I think it only made it into the mid-50's today, something like 10C.
We went out for a buffet dinner with another couple, Ron & Sue.  This was a first for us, dining out on Christmas day.  We usually have all the great stuff Marg prepares, but we decided to try something new this year.  I thought the dinner was fine, the turkey was good, there was crab [it was very good] & lots of choice in the salad bar and desert area.  The place was busy, lots of family's [with kids] and lots of seniors doing much the same as us.  I have to say the clean up was sure a lot easier.

I thought it was OK, but Marg said she won't be doing this again.  She thought it would be better to be in frozen, snow bound GP.  Sounds like that is the plan for the future.  Oh well, you have to be open to new ideas, sometimes they work out fine.
