Arizona Rangers

Not sure how familiar you are with the tales of the old wild west, but Arizona was pretty much one of the last parts of it settled & that got law & order.  The law enforcement agency charged with bringing an end to the lawless element was the Arizona Rangers.  They were as famous as the Texas rangers and are still a presence in Az.  The Arizona Mounted Rangers were all over the Walmart parking lot today, so we took a few pics.  What you don't see is many of them are packing six shooters in holsters, just like the old west, even if they were on quads.  And make no mistake in thinking their six shooters are decorative.  I think it might have been a theft deterrent strategy, in case anyone thought the parked cars were easy targets.
