Well the weather is starting to warm up, enough of that cold nonsense. Nice to feel the warmth of the sun. Friday went to the Mesa market and exchanged some books with the old gal we usually go to. Marg got a bracelet that aligns her protons. Heck I didn't even realize she was unbalanced. Anyway it seems to be helping with her balance, pain, sleep, happiness and any other corns, bunions or pimples. Heard from Janette & Rick Ferguson from GP, they are in Scottsdale & we plan to get together with them. Today, went to breakfast in the park this AM and had the full meal deal. The group did a great job, even had little slices of orange on the plates. Got out and went to Camping World. If you have not been there, check out their web site, I can't imagine anything they can't provide. Got a fold up chair, a stand to support the power step, window thermometer, step carpet, awning cleaner. If it's for an RV, they have it or can fix it. Then on to some shopping and a stop at Appleby's for lunch. They had this amazing soup/salad deal that Marg just had to share with everyone. Good food, it's about our 3rd time at this restaraunt & it's in the middle of some great shopping - for chicks anyway! After lunch we shopped for a mattress in the shops around there & found a great deal on one. We priced out what is basically the same one in Edmonton & on a deal it was over $2,000. We got it for less than half of that. It seems our sleeping in has taken its toll and made this purchase necessary. No one said this retirement came with an alarm clock. After returning I installed the carpet on the motorhome steps & hung the hummingbird feeder, around here that is called being productive. Stay tuned for hummingbird pictures, there are lots of those little guys around here. After we went out to Midwestern Meats with Ron & Sue. It was very good & we hadn't been there since last year. After returning we played cards with them and taught them 31. It seems there is a group here that play it and they wanted to know how. I won all the money, so as you can see we only gave them the basics. We also played a game of golf & Marg won the money in that one. Big bucks, we played for quarters. Tomorrow there is a big super bowl party in the park. Marg has volunteered to help Aggie set up & I am supposed to help Ron sell squares in the pools. He mentioned pool & with my bad hearing I volunteered for the wrong game - sheesh. We have to be there anyway as the ice cream will be at half time & we now seem to be permanently on the ice cream social team. Should be fun anyway. Go - who was that again, oh yeh Packers or Steelers, not sure who just yet.
