Thursday/Friday Nov 1 & 2

Thursday
We got up an at 'em early as it was our last travel day.  We never even stopped for breakfast or fuel, right out on the road.  We crossed into Arizona and gained an hour in the process as this is one of the two states that never change the clocks for Daylight Savings Time.
We made it to Kingman at 10:30, so figured we were entitled to a big sit-down breakfast.  The food was good and the portions generous.  Fueled up we headed down highway 93 getting in to Phoenix about 1, but it was still another hour until we reached our place in AJ.  As usual the place was dusty with lots of leaves and crud blown in.
Marg took to the park model and got it opened up.  I did the breezeway and driveway before we put anything on it.  I washed the trailer down, using vinegar in the water and it made a great job.  Worked steady until supper time.  For something easy we just went down to the Village Inn.  Marg had a chicken dish, I had the turkey.  Best of all there was an option, so Marg chose a salad starter, while I chose pie to end the meal.  A quick stop at Walmart for a few basic provisions and back to do a few more things.  Unpacked most of the truck and put away most of the stuff.  Watched a bit of peasant vision, but the aerial tv here has lots of channels and pretty good choice.
Through the afternoon we had several visitors and renewed some old acquaintences.
Friday
We had a bit of a lay in and then breakfast.  Then we went down to visit with Nancy and her daughter.  She is one of the gamblin gals and has sold out and is leaving for good.  A sad reunion but nice to see her again.  She had lots of stuff to deal with and wouldn't hear of me not having her deceased husbands bike, compressor, ladder, etc.  Such a generous lady.  We are taking her and her daughter for dinner to the buffet tonight.
We got all the stuff out of the Az room and got the patio set up as well as the numerous other loose ends we have to do.
Went out and got water for the cooler and beer in the fridge, so things are looking up.
Stay tuned the wifi seems to be OK, but Marg has ordered Mediacom as our backup plan.
