Saturday, Nov 17th

A nice day in the Valley, but again started cool and warmed up by mid morning.
I went to the breakfast in the hall and had french toast, eggs & bacon.  It was pretty well attended for this early in the season.  When I got back Marg was prepared to hit the road, so we went to 4 park sales in large RV parks.  The parks were each very large, so there were lots of things for sale much of it household items.  Marg found a few small things, like the two large tree ornaments she bought for the community tree that will erected.  The idea is to have everyone write their name on the ornament and it will be a kind of memory tree or legacy.  She bought one for our name and the second to put one in Larry & Nancy's name.  We also found some Levelor blinds, but on getting them home decided they really don't fit our bedroom window.  The only thing good about them is we only paid $7 for the two of them.  Now we have something to put in the park sale here.  We also went to an estate sale at the end.  It was in a private home and in the past these have proven worth the time.  That was not really the case here, in fact the only thing I bought was a 3 hole punch for 75 cents.
When we got back home it was time for lunch and then we hung around for the afternoon.  Marg had a commitment to be at the clubhouse to arrange things for the Welcome Back dance tonight. I put a second coat of white paint on the pyramid block to get it ready for our address numbers.  We had a facetime with Charlene and then went to check the mail and see if anyone was playing pool, but the answer to both was no.  After 3 Marg went to the clubhouse and they got everything organized for the dance.
Supper was our last time warming the stew and it was still very good.  After we went to the dance which was pretty well attended for being early in the season.  I think Marg surprised even herself as she was up on the dance floor quite a few times.  Everyone who came had a good time, so it was well worth the effort.
