Dec 27th, a Tuesday

It was pretty chilly last night and windy this morning.  No bike riders this morning, so we only hung around until it was apparent they were not coming.  As the day progressed, the sun warmed up the air and it turned out to be a nice day.  Marg threw a load of stuff in the washer as she already had some that had dried from yesterday.
We went out to get a few things at Walmart, but went to the store by Superstition mall.  It is a super centre and very different from the one we have in AJ.  Marg wanted to see the Christmas stuff on sale as that is usually when she gets her cards for the next year.  Luck was with her and she got some nice cards as well as a few other things.  Then we picked up the grocery items we needed and headed over to the Ross's store.  She really likes that one and I had a pocket book along for just such an event.  She was also lucky there and found some very nice shoes, I would call them deluxe flip flops, but she said they were much more than that.  I think she also got some tea towels or something like that.  By then it was time to get back home so stuff didn't warm up too much.
When we got home we had a bite of lunch, some half sandwiches broiled in the oven, very nice.  I had a visitor making a request while we were eating.  She wanted me to take some pictures and post a notice of the New Years eve party.  After Marg washed another load and steamed all the clothes that were dried so they were ready to put away.  I went and played pool for about an hour, taking my camera with me.  Then I just slipped over to the rec hall where I took a handful of pics of the organizers and stuff for the photo booth.  I managed to get the stuff posted on the tenants association FB page as well as schedule an event for the party.
By then it was time for happy hour and Marg took a smoked wild salmon ball and crackers for a snack there today.  Again it was a small bunch as not many of the folks who left for Christmas have returned.  Then we went out to Denny's for supper tonight.  There is a new one just up the trail at Signal Butte, you know in the same centre as Harbour Freight.  It was good, but it made our time a little tight, so we came directly back home to get the bingo stuff.  Down to the hall where again it was a smaller crowd where we played without success.  Well Marg was very close [one number] several times, but we were not able to get a win tonight.
By night the weather was still very pleasant.  The air seems to be warming up so it should be a nice day tomorrow, fingers crossed.

  1. Saw the photo booth pics on fb, is there to be a photographer or people take their own pics? x

  2. Not sure about a photographer, I think the plan is for them to make their own pics, I don't fancy sitting around for hours to take pictures and this is a small budget production, so it's kind of DIY.
