Tuesday, Jan 13th

Sure was cloudy this AM, but we went for a bike ride anyway.  We got about 4 1/2 miles in and then decided to return to the RV park.  There was a forecast of rain and the black clouds were hanging over the mountains and the idea of getting soaked out there did not appeal.    Got back just in time, as it rained pretty hard today.
  Put up a few valances in the morning in the trailer bedroom and one in the Az room.  Then a couple of eggs on toast for breakfast and we were ready to go.
  We went out to pay the Mediacom bill.  They were supposed to give us an adjustment for all the set up problems and service outages, but none on the current bill.  Marg talked to them about it and they were good and put in for it on the next bill.
  After we went to Lowes again.  I think if we ever stop going there, they may close the store like they did Woodward's when we moved to GP.  That was one of Marg's favourite stores and she was pretty sure her moving caused their failure.  At Lowes we picked up a door threshold and some framing material for the mirror.  On the way stopped in at Harbour Freight and bought some more odds and ends and got a free 25ft tape measure.  Marg was in Big Lots, but never got anything in there.
  Lunch was soup & rolls and then I went to play pool for a while.  Marg did housework and re-arranged cupboards finding stuff she had forgot she had.  Not sure about all this shopping and gathering activity if we are making discoveries like that, LOL!
   A stop for happy hour and then home for supper.  By that time the rain had quit and the sun was out, starting to warm up the air.  Supper was one of my fav's, pasta and shrimp.  By that time Gerry and Debbie Canuel were here and we had an opportunity to catch up, as it has been quite a while since we last saw them.  They finally got over their flu and other malady's and came to play bingo tonight.  Deb had on her prosthetic and did pretty well with it, although she has a way to go.  Everyone was close, but not winners in our group.  Three winners at our table, but alas we were not among them.  After Gerry & Deb stopped for coffee and a snack before heading home.  They wanted to get away at a decent hour as he will be coming back in the morning to play golf.
