Groundhog day

Happy Groundhog day everyone. Well it seems as usual there are differing groundhog prognostications. Spring is either coming early or on the other had there may be 6 weeks of winter yet, I believe GP is in the latter group. Chilly night here and we woke up to a cold wind. I think it was below zero [not much, but none the less below] in the night, I know the temp never got to 50F today, I think it was as warm in GP today. In 3 years, these was the coldest day we have experienced here. I don't think tonight will be any warmer, but cheer up; they are forecasting nice weather by the weekend. Played pool after lunch and Marg went grocery shopping. After we went to the Total Wine store for spirits. You have previously heard me rave about the selection and pricing there and today was a successful trip. The area where it is located is a boutiquish place, so we also had dinner down there. After returning to the park, I played poker with a group of guys. They play dealers choice here & I played games I have never heard of, but managed to come out ahead. What kind of games, well: Spit in the Ocean, Follow the Lady, Low Card, Change the Diaper, something about cows, I can't even recall them all. It was a lot of fun. Marg went with Sue and picked up some bargains. After poker Ron & I had coffee & dessert with the ladies.
