Lost - we're OK

Missed another birthday today, Anna last week & Daniel today. One disadvantage of this nomdic life. A nice day, not quite as hot, about 72F and sunny. It rained throught the night and is supposed to shower on Sunday as well. Unlike Yuma, it actually rains here & some roads do flood. Went to the big Mesa swap meet to get a few things, parking is the real challenge there. The one thing we went for we couldn't get, as the vendor wasn't around. Was looking for external window coverings for the windshield to cut down the sun. Went looking for a GPS for the car/m'home. With the map reading challenges, Marg figures it is an investment in our relationship. LOL Went to a couple of places and the Apache Jctn Walmart had the best deal on a unit, but were out of stock. They checked and the nearest store with any was in Mesa, so we trudged off there. The price was $30 more at the Mesa store and even after phoning to confirm the AJ store price, they wouldn't match it. So on to Costco in Mesa where they had a better unit for a better price. One of our criteria was it have both Canadian & US maps, which this one does as well as Mexico & Puerto Rico. The end result is we are now bullet proof from the dreaded "where #%@* are we" travellers problem - I hope. All we have to do is learn to operate it. LOL We are headed to Orlando on Monday morning on Southwest airlines. They have this cool seat sale on that we were able to get in on. Our fingers are crossed that Londons Heathrow airport will not be snowed in as we planned our flights to arrive just before the Smith's. We will be taking the laptop and plan to update the blog with tales of glee among the various theme parks. Marg & Charlene are already doing web searches on Bealls & Marshalls stores [the local Winners type], but sadly there is no Cabela store in Florida. The Daytona 500 is on while we are there and we leave just before Bike Week starts, so lots of non-Disney [the happiest place on earth] things going on as well.
