  The day was windy from the start, a cool wind off the mountains.  The temperatures warmed and it was very pleasant in the sun, I saw 20 C on the truck read out.
  Fortunately I was up an about early as the riders showed up at 9 this morning.  We had a new one added today, so there were 4 of us.  We road out east to Idaho and that is my favourite direction as it leaves the downhill and wind at the back for the ride back home.  Our intrepid leader, Charlie took us on a bit of a circuitous route, adding mileage to the ride.  I didn't have the odometer on, but would guess we made 6 or 7 miles today.  It was enough for me as my body is starting to protest.
  Marg tidied up around here and got ready, so by the time I returned I had a quick shower & shave.  We went out to Costco for a few things.  It was busy today, but we got lucky and parked in a handicap stall.  That pass she got last spring sure has come in handy.  We have a couple of in-park functions that Marg wants to have appies she can bring to contribute.  We also got a few things for our meals in the next few days.  We met a few people from our park in the store, so that added to the time it took to get through there.  A lot of it needed refrigeration, so we headed straight back to our place.  At Costco there was a young couple with two little ones ahead of us at the cash.  The little girl was messing about looking at stuff on the belt.  The mother said to her something like - oh look what this lady is buying. It looks like good stuff for a party.  Then the cashier said something to Marg about how good our selections were for a party.  Looks like we both chose well.  Me for choosing her and her for the things in our buggy.  By the time we got home we had a text saying one of the functions was being delayed until later.
  After a bite to eat I went to play pool.  I played at the table with the very good players today.  I was about even on win / loss stats.  I was probably the poorest player at the table, but won one game paired with the second poorest, so did OK.  When the table wrapped up I went to play with two other fellows.  They were kind enough to let me break.  Well that is a bit facetious, when playing three, it is the other two against whoever breaks, so I was the enemy.  LOL  Still did OK
  Marg went shopping this afternoon to Walmart.  She picked up some things that were not available at Costco.  One we needed most was an air card for her cell phone.  She lucked out getting one of the handicap stalls.  While there are lots of them here, they get a lot of use.  Fortunately she also got bananas, we seldom buy them at Costco.  Something about their handling methods leaves the bananas tasting different in a way I don't care for.
  Happy was at our place today, every second Friday.  Marg had enough things that she put out appies today.  That is always popular.  There were a bunch of the regulars we happy with as well as some additions.  A couple across the road came as their happy group were all doing other things and the lady who bought our place came as she also went to the neighbours happy group.  There were a few others as well, so we had about 18 or 20.  It was noisy enough.  LOL
  After Kenny said they were going for fish tonight, so another couple and us went along.  We went to Long John Silvers tonight up on Power road.  It's kind of a fast food version for fish, but the food is good.  Ended the day having a facetime with Bill & Patti as well as Brennan, Jess and Paityn in the pool at their hotel.
