New Year's Eve 2015

A busy day in AJ with trying to get settled.
  Washed the truck to get all the road salt & grit off.  It looked out of place, you hardly see a vehicle that dirty here.  It seems there were lots of guys in line who were new in town as well.
  Mediacom came today, aa nice young man who had our TV, Internet & land line set up in no time.  As usual there was a difference in what he wanted to charge & the plan I had been quoted, but it was easily resolved with a phone call.  Marg went out for a few things & got a telephone.  She said it was almost impossible to get a basic phone, but we have a land line this year 480-845-1189.
  I had to hang around as we had a guy come to wash the park model.  In the end it proved to be a waste of time as he did such a poor job.  Looks like we will have to go over it especially the windows. Such a disappointment as we had a really good result in past years, but they went out of business.
  Marg went shopping as the cupboards were bare, so needed to stock up.  We also needed steaks for the New Year's Eve bbq we went to at the Taylor's as well as buns for the ribs & sauerkraut function that Bob & Karen invited us to.  After marg went down to help decorate the hall for the party & I happened along for some of the taller challenges.
  We are still going thru the new to the park visits with everyone we see.  Generally involves exchanging travel news & catching up, so makes for real slow travel, but it's all good.
 It ended up being a late night, the bbq was great & the entertainment at the hall kept the place jumping.  We danced and drank our share and had a fun time.  I think we wore ourselves out and as a result Marg has a cold.  Hopefully it will pass soon.
