Well our first full day here. Today was a day to get some domestic things done eg: vacuum, laundry, and rearrange some things. Met a 91 yr old woman who just renewed her driving lic in the laundry, watching to see what she drives in case we meet her on the freeway. It was so cold when we left, alot of things were just put anywhere there was space. It was too cold to open the slides and some of our storage inside cannot be accessed until they are opened. Met alot of nice people, everyone is so friendly it reminds us of the lake. Something that is funny, our next door neighbour here has been coming here for over 20 years and everyone knows; him something like at the lake. Our claim to fame there is our neighbour is Richard & everyone knows him. This could be a look into the future for Richard, LOL. Also lots of people run around here on golf carts I wish I had ours here. Went to a jam session tonite, we were part of the young crowd, the tunes would have brought back memories to grandma Bez. We had our first home cooked dinner tonight since we left GP got tired of eating out. Dinner included southwestern style corn, something new to us, kind of like chefs' surprise, when you open the can. Dave checked out flights to Edmonton for the 20th as he has to go for a meeting .
