Cooler day today, I think it got to about 55F & then rained in the evening, Well the cooler weather keeps the rattlesnakes in their dens, so it's positive.
Met up with Bill & Patti and their group to go out to Goldfield, its only about 10 minutes away from our rv park. Its an 1880's gold mining town that is now a ghost town. Saw the sights, including a big shoot out in the main street. Seems a bunch of bounty hunters caught up to some bad guys, 2 of whom were pretty friendly. Both Patti & Marg got some pretty attractive admirers from among the rowdier 2 bad guys in the crowd at the village. Had lunch at the Mammoth saloon, the kids panned for gold, with some good results. Grandma sponsored a carriage ride through the desert. Kids picked up a few souvenirs, including a horseshoe with their name on them. They were sure busy, but seemed to enjoy their day.
