Interesting day yesterday, got my haircut with Chuck - the barber. Worst haircut I ever had, Marg still hasn't stopped laughing. Words cannot do justice to the injustice. Oh well, there's only 10 days difference between a good or bad one. Phil always jokes about his barber, shaky Bill or something like that, well I met his brother Chuck. After supper the Canuels stopped by: Carol & Deb went to bingo with Marg & Jerry & Phil played pool with me. Marg won the first game, so they were in good spirits. Speaking of spirits, introduced Jerry to fine Irish whiskey & he seemed to like it. It was probably midnight by the time they left. Fun evening. Today we went to a presentation from a medi-vac group. They sell insurance that pays to ship sick old folks home by air. Laugh if you will, there was a big crowd there to hear the details. Although in fairness, it might have had more to do with the free pizza. The pizza was very good by the way, but like most, I didn't buy the insurance. Notice no comment about the weather today, although I did get a bit of sun burn yesterday ;>)

That truley is the funniest barber shop sign.. he does sound like Shaky Johns relations from that side of the pond.
ReplyDeleteAs for the MediVac presentation... it worried me when I hear you going to stuff like that. The Pizza here is homemade and free... and so is the Whiskey!
