Disney Day
Got up early & went to Disney's Animal Kingdom. The day was sunny & hot, about 26C. A nice breeze came up in the afternoon, to make it pleasant. It was a great experience, the park is huge and they have lots of exotic wildlife and some small stuff too. Went to a few feature attractions and they were a lot of laughs as well. Katie had an autograph book and got many of the feature characters to sign off. There were some amazing acts like the lady on stilts dressed in vines & leaves. You could barely recognize her even when she was away from the bushes. The line ups weren't too bad, although one or two features had long ones. Had lunch in the park in a neat place in the dinosauer land. All of us had a Mickey Mouse ice cream. The day finished with the parade, that is common to all Disney parks.
On the way home Phil stopped for gas and Char & I picked a handful of oranges & grapefruit from some wild trees. They smell so fresh that way. We are back to poaching fruit, LOL!
Back at the ranch, Phil figured out the pool heater and has it cranked right up. Phil & Katie went for a swim before supper and although it is still a bit cool, it will be fine for tomorrow. Met the lady next door and she advised we keep the screen door closed as she has had problems with snakes in her pool & house from leaving hers open.
Stopped at a souvenier shop & Katie is sending postcards.
The GPS led us to another restaurant and then back home.
